Honda Super Cub 110 2022 upgraded for the Japanese market

In the Japanese motorcycle market, the Honda Cub 110 lineup, including the Super Cub 110 and Cross Cub 110, is receiving upgrades for 2022. The upgrades include appearance improvements as well as road safety .

The main change to the Super Cub 110 for this year is the brakes, the front mechanical drum brake being replaced by the hydraulic brake disc with two-piston caliper with single-channel ABS. However, the rear wheel is still stopped using a drum brake.

In the engine room, the classic single-cylinder, OHC, air-cooled engine still displaces 109cc, but the stroke is now longer with the engine itself brought into line with Japan’s Reiwa 2 emissions standard. Mated to a four-speed rotary gearbox with centrifugal clutch, the Super Cub 110 produces 8bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.8Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.

Meanwhile, the Super Cub 110 gets 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels shod with 80/90 tires front and rear. Suspension is with conventional telescopic forks and twin rear shocks, both of which are non-adjustable.

The headlight and exhaust differentiate the Super Cub 110 from its Cross Cub 110 sibling, the Cross Cub 110 sporting simpler body panels. 4.1 liters of fuel are carried in the tank, while the weight is 108 kg.
