Assassin’s Creed Infinity in Unreal Engine 5: Welcome to Japan

Recently, the number of remastered games in Unreal Engine 5 has started to increase. A few days ago we saw a great video of a fan remake of Silent Hill in Unreal Engine 5. And today TeaserPlay released a new concept video, imagining Assassin’s Creed Infinity with Unreal Engine 5.

In this concept video, TeaserPlay presented Assassin’s Creed Infinity in feudal Japan, a historical setting requested by fans of the franchise long after but never made by Ubisoft. In the video, an unnamed man wanders through an extraordinary environment created in Unreal Engine 5.

What Assassin’s Creed Infinity looks like in Unreal Engine 5

The Assassin’s Creed: Infinity Remake gameplay video shared on YouTube is just over two minutes long. Meanwhile, the video shows various locations, as well as the main character himself. It should be noted that the action in the Assassin’s Creed: Infinity video takes place in Japan in 1333.

In the video, you can see houses and buildings corresponding to Japanese culture. At the very end of the new Assassin’s Creed: Infinity trailer, the camera shows the assassin protagonist’s face, which is hidden behind a mask. Note that everything shown in the video was created in UE 5.

Assassin’s Creed: Infinity is currently in development at Ubisoft. However, its release date is still unknown. Insiders say it will be released in 2024 at the earliest.

Another game in the series, Assassin’s Creed: Rift, should come out sooner. We note that it is not as big as Infinity, and at the same time, it will be based on stealth mechanics. Assassin’s Creed: Rift is slated for release in early 2023.
